Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. 
  • Mobility Assistance: Help with transferring the client between bed, chair, wheelchair, or other locations as needed, and encourage mobility to prevent immobility. 
  • Medication Management: Assist with medication reminders, administering prescribed medication under supervision, and monitoring for any side effects or reactions. 
  • Health Monitoring: Track and report on vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, pulse) and overall well-being. 
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and assist with feeding meals, ensuring they meet dietary needs and preferences. 
  • Household Assistance: Help with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and ensuring the environment remains safe and comfortable for the elderly individual.

  • Experience: Prior experience in elderly care or a related field (preferred).
